WebCT Tutorial

You may find it useful to print these instructions before beginning. To register for a WebCT course and create a WebCT account, follow the instructions below:

• Click on the Account Creation link on the WebCT Homepage to open the account creation page if you don't already have one.
• Follow the on-screen instructions, completing every required field (those marked with asterisks).
• Record your WebCT ID and password and store it in a safe place.
• Click Continue.
• A Login box will now appear.
• Enter the username and password you just created.
• Your MyWebCT page will now appear.  You can click on Add Course to add a course to your MyWebCT account.
• Select the Arts and Science under the Category column then look for CHEM 1020-01 General Chemistry I - Yarger Fall 02. Note that the -01 denotes your section number, be sure to choose the right section (Section -01)

• A screen will now appear asking if your school provided you with a username and password.  DO NOT enter a username and password; just click the Register button.

• At this point, you can add more courses or return to your MyWebCT page.  Please note that you can add a course at any time by clicking on "Add Course" after you log in.Once you have created an account, you can login by visiting http://webct.uwyo.edu and then clicking on Login MyWebCT.
